FEATURED:  TomoTherapy on ‘The Doctors’ TV Show

On Tuesday, December 8, 2009, TomoTherapy was featured on The Doctors, a TV show broadcast nationally in the U.S. The episode featured an explanation of our advanced radiation therapy technology, along with a breast cancer patient’s treatment experience and a doctor’s clinical perspective. The Treatment Process

Dawn, 42, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. In this segment, she undergoes TomoTherapy treatment, a highly-targeted form of targeted radiation therapy. The segment follows Dawn to a typical treatment visit. At the office, Dr. Robert Zimmerman of Vantage Oncology - Santa Clarita in California also explains what a patient should expect when being treated and how this technology overcomes limitations of previous technologies used to treat breast and other forms of cancer.
