After being diagnosed with advanced endometrial cancer and undergoing surgery and chemotherapy, Dr. Barnhart learned of TomoTherapy through extensive research on the best radiation option to fit her diet and lifestyle. Laurens Pierce III is another such survivor. As a late stage prostate cancer patient Laurens feared the results his treatment would have on his life and worried about debilitating side effects.
