The Director of HR Operations is a strategic-minded Total Rewards Compensation, Benefits and HRIS Professional. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this key role will have primary responsibility for planning and implementing all compensation and benefits programs on a global basis as well as managing the corporate recruiting and HRIS strategies/platforms for the company. This person will be the resident total rewards, talent acquisition and HRIS expert providing strategic leadership in these areas to all of the company’s global operations. He or she will have an immediate ability to develop and roll out all related programming and to be in a position to clearly demonstrate the value-added nature that well-thought-out strategies in these areas can have on the success of a company. The successful candidate MUST have: *A sound knowledge of compensation design including sales incentives, management incentives, restricted stock units and total compensation *Five to ten years experience working in global HR operational roles and managing people *A demonstrated ability to build cooperation and cohesiveness of a total rewards/HR team *Five years in the design and management of benefits and compensation plans *Experience working with HRIS technology to drive analyses and efficiencies for an organization *Demonstrated ability to establish credibility with senior leaders and influence change *Demonstrated ability to develop programs and processes from scratch *Track record of flawless execution and attention to detail and accuracy *Exposure to recruitment strategies and process along with experience developing, preparing, and negotiating employment offers at the management level *Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field. The Senior Marketing Manager EMEA will drive global sales of product line with strong emphasis on EMEA. Markets. Individual will take leadership role in ensuring organization meets/exceeds its business and financial commitments in these markets. Individual will participate in defining overall business strategy and take a leadership role in designing and executing the resulting tactical plan(s). This positon is based in Brussels. Candidates should already be living/working in Europe for consideration. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Marketing Management * Directly manage the Brussels marketing team members. Ensure appropriate prioritization and overall team execution of EMEA marketing activities/projects. Perform ongoing and annual performance reviews with team members. * Take leadership decision-making role for EMEA market, consulting VP of Marketing where appropriate. * Works closely with Sales, Product Management and Product Development to assume an active role for new product launches including, but not limited to, promotional activities. * Take responsibility for ensuring business targets are met on quarterly and annual basis. Monitor actual vs budget (revenue, units, margin) numbers and come up with plans to correct any deviation. * Build the TomoTherapy Brand Identity through a well-integrated and executed plan. Analyze promotional options (advertising, tradeshows, customer meetings/events, PR, direct mail, telemarketing, collateral) and determine the mix which will provide the highest return on investment. * Support the worldwide sales distribution team with the tools that they need to be most successful. This includes being able to effectively substantiate our clinical applications and overall technology advantages. * Continuously evaluates competitor's products and strategies for comparison and analysis purposes. Reviews pricing strategies and recommends modifications as needed. * Serves as a key member of management in the development of TomoTherapy's strategic business plan related to product offerings, sales and sales margins, and overall product and market development strategies and tactics. 2. Clinical Product Marketing * Assists in the organization of TomoTherapy User Group meetings. * Works closely with Programs Training Manager to review, evaluate and advise on customer training requirements. 3. Safety and Quality * Ensures safety and quality considerations and requirements are proactively addressed and implemented in product design. * Addresses and manages in a timely fashion safefy and quality issues raised by customers or staff. * Supports TomoTherapy's Quality System and Safety and Health Program by following procedures and mentoring others. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * An undergraduate degree in marketing, health care or related field is desirable. An MBA or other Masters degree is preferred. * 4+ years in the medical industry (preferably in marketing). * Clinical applications experience with radiotherapy systems is preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and stronger leadership abilities. * Strong presentation skills. * Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20%. * Solid computer skills, including the use of standard office software programs as well as Word and PowerPoint.   |

Compact Particle Acceleration Corporation (CPAC) is a newly formed company focused on the development of the dielectric-wall accelerator (DWA) and its application to particle therapy and other fields of use. DWA technology will form the basis of a compact, high-gradient particle accelerator that is anticipated to be used in medical, security and defense applications. TomoTherapy is co-developing the compact proton therapy system with CPAC. CPAC will also continue to collaborate with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) to optimize the DWA for particle therapy and other applications. CPAC will also work with other commercial partners to develop the DWA for non-medical applications. The Research Physicist is responsible for researching, planning, designing and developing the optical switches and related components within the company's products. The physicist applies knowledge and experience in pulse power, materials science, and solid state physics to engage in a cutting-edge line of research. The physicist is expected to develop a proven record of successful research that improves the company products and processes. The physicist is expected to independently develop a research program and lead other research group personnel as appropriate for the program. The physicist will also manage external research and development collaborations with partners, including national laboratories. The physicist also takes initiative in overseeing the integration of research into prototypes and products. This position is located in Livermore, California. It is expected that the individual hired into this position will initially be an employee of TomoTherapy but will transition to CPAC employment within the coming year. Qualifications: *Eligibility to obtain security clearance required. *Doctoral degree in physics, preferably solid state physics. Relevant research experience or work experience in a technically related field may be considered in lieu of formal research-related education. *Strong initiative for conducting self-directed results-oriented research *At least 3 years experience working on research projects in the field of pulse power, materials science, and solid state physics. This may include experience gained while pursuing a graduate degree.   |
